Unicorn HRO, an industry leader in benefits, payroll and HR solutions, today announced the Anthony (Tony) J. Pascazio has joined Unicorn HRO as CEO and President. In his role, Mr. Pascazio will be focused on consulting and business development activities for corporations and nonprofits, with an emphasis in the life sciences industry.
Tony brings nearly 40 years of entrepreneurial experience to the company having built and sold several middle market financial services companies. He is considered to be an expert in the field of ERISA having lectured throughout the country on employee benefit plans, the design and administration of all forms of qualified and non-qualified retirement plans, the management of defined benefit plan liabilities and the proper design and administration of retirement plans for the large non-profit marketplace.

Prior to joining Unicorn HRO, Mr. Pascazio was the Director at Solenture Consulting and the Vice Chairman and Co-Founder of International Planning Alliance, LLC, one of the nation’s largest privately owned multiple disciplinary financial services organizations. His professional credentials include Life and Qualifying Member of the Million Dollar Round Table; member of the General Agents and Managers Association, Master Agency Level; member of the National Association of Independent Financial Advisors; and member of Association of Advanced Life Underwriting (AALU). He received a B.S. in business administration from the College of New Jersey in Ewing, New Jersey, and the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation from the American College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.
Mr. Pascazio’s extensive civic activities include serving as past president, past chairman and co-founder of The Institute for Children with Cancer and Blood Disorders, an affiliate of the Cancer Institute of New Jersey. Additionally, he is active in the Somerset County Chamber of Commerce; former vice chairman of the Board of Trustees of Somerset Medical Center; former vice chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Somerset Medical Center Foundation, Somerville, New Jersey; a member of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation for Pediatric Neurosurgery, Newark, New Jersey; and a member of the Board of Trustees of the Paul R. Nardoni Foundation. Mr. Pascazio served as a public member of the New Jersey Supreme Court Committee on Attorney Ethics from 1992 to 1996, an appointment made by the New Jersey Supreme Court.
