New Capabilities Provide Self-Service Tools to Simplify Healthcare Benefits Administration, Standardize Onboarding Processes, and Reduce Errors

Unicorn’s benefits modules enable HR departments to streamline the onboarding process for new hires and efficiently manage open enrollment each year.
Unicorn’s Open Enrollment module is used for annual benefit enrollment election changes. The module can be configured to allow employees to elect new year elections during a specified time period, update personal information, verify dependent information, and review benefit statements.
First Time Enrollment
The First Time Enrollment module is used for new hire and re-hire initial benefit enrollment elections. Employees can easily access the First Time Enrollment module to input their address, phone, email, marital status, dependents, and date of birth.
The Life Events module features pre-configured life events pages for employees to make a mid-year benefit enrollment change. Benefit changes are effective according to the date of the life event such as a marriage, divorce, and the birth or adoption of a child, etc.
